Lets start the year with my first post of the year...a Photoshop Practice!!
not too great...

anyway, my first art in colour!! :D Never used photoshop to colour anything so...do not judge my skills yet. I've got a lot to learn.

Warning this isn't my current drawing style, this was my last drawing i scanned around november 2007.
I've improved alot since then, soon after 14 January i can start uploading more & more art.

Because i've got a major computer exam on the 14 january so i must use my drawing time for studying.

For your first time in Photoshop this is very good. I like your style and the choice of colours is very nice. It would look even nicer if you tried shading on Photoshop (:

Just a question, did you ink the lines by hand or re-ink it on Photoshop?

I drew it with a 0.5 mechanical pencil, then scan it and adjust brightness/contrast using adobe photoshop CS2. no ink :D

lol my scanner is crap, hp scanjet 2400. The most crappest scanner in the whole uk. I bet your scanner is better. But if you draw with a good 0.5 mechanical pencil, the lines should be sharp and clear. But drawing with a normal penicl, it doesn't come out clearly.

it looks better than when I practiced with adobe!! man...you know how to color in the lines with it looking crappy!!! man I remember mine looked soooo sad.....*sigh* keep practicing!!! Ooooo try and add shading to it and other stuff..... ^^

Thanks Kim :D yeah shading practice after exam!! well i've seen your work here and i think they look awesome. You do use photoshop too?
lol yeah, but what worries me is it took me 5 hours + to colour this. I have to improve quickly.
